Yes. The receptionist says so at the start of every call. Being upfront builds trust.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes. Forward calls to the receptionist, or let your phone ring first and send unanswered calls over. You can also use the local number included in your plan.
What if a caller needs a real person?
The receptionist transfers the call to the numbers you choose, following your rules.
What does “$197/month plus usage” mean?
Usage is the phone time and text messages your receptionist uses. Every minute it spends on a call counts as a voice minute, and every text it sends counts as one or more text segments (one segment is about 160 characters). Your plan includes 300 minutes and 200 text segments a month, plus unlimited email call summaries. You pay extra only if you go over, and never more than the overage cap you set.
What happens if I go over my minutes?
Extra minutes are $0.25 each and extra texts $0.03 per segment. You get alerts, and your overage cap (default $100) stops surprise bills.
Is there a contract?
No. Monthly plans can be canceled before the next billing date. The annual plan saves 2 months.
Does it work for medical or dental offices?
Yes, for scheduling and general questions. It never gives medical advice. Our team is HIPAA-trained.
